Series 1 included 300 base cards, 200 Holo Parallels and 200 Cracked Ice (Crystal Shards). This brings the total number of cards to 700 to complete a master set.
Starting with a 300-card set, the 2019 Panini Fortnite Series 1 checklist offers 100 base cards, 50 Uncommon cards, 50 Rare cards (1 per pack), 50 Epic cards (1:6 packs), and 50 Legendary cards (1:12 packs). The Epic cards also average one per Blaster box.
There are also Holofoil parallels throughout the set. These combine to average one per box (1:24 packs). Crystal Shard parallels are found in the Retail Mega Box format at a rate of two per box. The Mega boxes were released as a Target Exclusive and not found at any other retailers. The only other way to buy packs containing Crystal Shard parallels was/is through the International Panini websites in Italy and Brazil. Through their international websites, they sold mega boxes and collector tins that both contained 2 Crystal Shard parallels.
Fortnite Series 2
Series 2 brought a lot of changes in 2020. Panini lowered the number of base cards to 250 and removed the screen shot cards seen in the 2019 Series 1 set. You will also find the new Optichrome Holos throughout the set.
