It was released that Topps and Fanatics were able to acquire the Fortnite license from Panini. THG spoke with many parties evolved regarding this very anticipated release. Epic Games and Topps had been working on the set or had been in discussions about it but nothing has come to light. It has been roughly 2 years since I first heard that Fanatics/Tops received the rights through the lawsuit paperwork between Fanatics and Panini.
I have spoken to the teams close to the matter every couple months. The information provided is that the new set was in the works until I stopped getting replies from all parties. We know longer are confident on when or if a set will be released but will let the community know the moment something happens.
